A Thought About Tomorrow's Oshkosh Mayor's Race...

Candidate Paul Esslinger will still be on the council if he looses.

Mayor Frank Tower will be off the council if he looses.

So, should Mr. Esslinger win, would it not be fair for him to appoint Mr. Tower to the council?

Vote for Frank Tower anyway...

Isn't Frank Tower a registered REPUBLICAN?

Your slipping Jef!

I don't think Frank Tower is a registered Republican and his votes don't resemble anything like those of a typical Republican. But it really doesn't matter anyway as it's a non-partisan race. Frank Tower is clearly the best man for the job even though he's not perfect. Esslinger's campaign material is nothing more than slick ads by a slippery politican who knows nothing but pandering and pouting when he doesn't get his way.

VOTE FRANK TOWER TO KEEP A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE ON THE FACE OF OSHKOSH.

Mayor Tower came to our American Government class to give a talk about local government, and someone asked him if he was a Democrat or a Republican. He said he had no idea what he was because he was conservative on some things, but not-so-much on other things (you know, kinda like 70% of us). So he's not a Republican

There is no party registration in Wisconsin, so it is very easy for people to be mostly non-partisan.

Frank would be a moderate I think if put on a spectrum. He was involved with the Julie Pung-Leshke (Republican) campaign for State Assembly 3 years ago I thought.
