A Sad Milestone...

The latest deaths also brought the number of U.S. military members killed since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003 to at least 2,978 — five more than the number killed in the Sept. 11 attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Wow, quite a few deaths, indeed. Not quite as high as the murder rates in New York, Washington DC, and Philly PA though.

Look at LA, 464 homicides this year in that city alone!

Maybe we should protest America's occupation of Los Angeles until the needless deaths end! Who's with me?

Wow, what a creative way to try to make meaningless the death of our service members as well as the deaths of our neighbors on 9-11.

You sure must be proud of your thinkin' skills!

You do, however, make a false analogy. Comparing the deaths of just US service members in Iraq to all murders in a US city is the wrong way to look at it.

A more valid comparison would be to compare US Service Member's deaths to the killing of police officers.

I'm pretty sure that 464 cops killed in LA in one year would even move your cold heart.

Even if you are so easily willing to negate their deaths on 9-11 with your comments.
